Friday the 13th, After the Patch!

When I first played this game I really enjoyed it. It was fun to gather the items, fix the vehicles, and get out of camp before Jason got you. There was thrill, tension, and drama! Then sadly, people got bored and started trolling each other taking advantage of the fact that camp counselors could actually kill each other.

Fallout 4 post-apocalyptic Boston

With the announcement of the Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition I thought we’d have a look at the original game and how it was.

A couple big changes to the franchise this time around; first of all the story takes place in Boston, and second you have a choice of gender early on. This only has minor impacts on the story though (just a few changes to the dialogue here and there). With that change though comes a big one; a voiced character with dialogue choices. Kind of Mass Effect like. Once you’ve made your pick, things get rolling.

The Basics

No coop or multiplayer *GASP*

Agents of MAYHEM just released from Deep Silver the creators of the Saints Row franchise. The big reaction from a lot of gamers…. Where’s the multiplayer?

MY first reaction however was, I loved the Saints Row games and this is supposed to be taking place in the same universe only you play as Super Agents instead of as a gang. It’s basically open-world, third-person action of super heroes versus super villains but in the Saints Row universe.

Teammate killing to end in Friday the 13th

Although the main idea behind the Friday the 13th game is for Jason to kill the counselors and for the counselors to escape; it is possible for the counselors to kill each other. This will soon be coming to an end.

The developers say they included this feature in the game to “promote life-or-death experiences into each and every game you play”. However just like every other video game feature, the players have not been using the feature as the designers have intended.

No Man’s Sky finally worth playing?

Believe it or not it’s been a year since the train wreck that is No Man’s Sky was released. The game was full of hype and promises that fell more than flat when the title finally hit the hands of consumers.

However, on this one year anniversary a free update is being released to all players that actually has me debating about picking the title up. I was originally very excited about No Man’s Sky. I bought into the hype, it seemed very much like my kind of game. Sadly when it finally came out it seemed to be almost the Seinfeld of video games. A game about almost nothing.

Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider - Gameplay Trailer Released

I love the Dishonored games. Part of why is because I very much enjoy stealth games and this has been a series that has actually let you play completely stealth if you so choose to. In fact I have the Trophies for no kills in both games.

This third title looks like it could have been DLC for Dishonored 2 as it stars Billie Lurk from that title. However Bethesda is offering the game as a standalone which will be an interesting place for people to start off if they are new to the series.
